Weekly Money Check Up

11 Jun

1. The most I’ve spent this last week was on food. I heart Trader Joe’s, the farmer’s market, and Costco!

2. Today I am thankful for my church. It’s one of the big ones, but they work so hard to make it small. We host the most amazing people for Small Group at our house. I took the classes a few weeks ago and am ready to become an official church member!

3. Money can’t buy happiness. One free thing I did last week that made me happy was go out on Saturday night with Twitch to Barnes and Noble. We just hung around and went through magazines. I love reading things I don’t have to buy. All of them. Even if I’m not interested. Because it’s free.

4. I will consider this week a success if I keep up with my FlyLady routines for housework. I still kinda loving her.

5. I am currently reading Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers. My sisters decided to start a Book Club. We live in different states. Whatever. The sister who gets nauseous just thinking about reading came up with the idea- that’s a miracle in itself.
